You will also learn how to systematically and safely load and unload a handgun. You’ll gain an understanding of the importance of selecting the proper ammunition for your handgun, the various gun carry methods the various holster retention levels and the legal and safety consideration associated with the carry of a handgun. You will also learn how to reasonably protect your home, your life and the life of a third party under the rules of law as it pertain to the use of deadly force. This class will cover proper drawing techniques, shooting stances and the valuable practices associated with good marksmanship such as sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control. This course also include the practical application of the classroom training in marksmanship with a course of fire on a live fire range with a law enforcement and military trained instructor.
